Mathematics and Computer Science school for 5th-8th-graders

Due to the pandemic Kvanta works remotely. Please read more on the Kvanta-Online page.
Nice to meet you! :)
Welcome to the website of «Kvanta» Mathematics and Computer Science school!
Let us draw your attention to the project and tell you why we worth your visit.
Who we are and what we do
We are the group of high school and university students and teach Math to 5-8th-graders, using our own experience. Our school was founded in 2016 with the only purpose: to teach kids, who have such desire, to think outside the box. That is why:

  • Among our teachers, there are prize-winners of many Olympiads of different levels - people who can and want to share their knowledge.
  • One of our significant advantages is that students, in addition to weekly classes, actively communicate with us online during the rest of the week. They submit their solutions of tasks we give, ask questions about lessons' topics, and receive help. Due to this feature, the educational process flows during the whole school year without big interruptions. You can find more information about our educational process here.

We believe that non-standard thinking not only helps to get great results in Math competitions but also develops mental abilities. As it is often stated, «Mathematics is gymnastics for the mind»!
Who will teach
Among our teachers, there are medalists of International Mathematical Olympiad, Romanian Master in Mathematics, European Girls' Mathematical Olympiad, winners of the final stage of National Ukrainian Mathematics Olympiad, and students of Taras Shevchenko National Univesity of Kyiv.
You can get acquainted with our teacher on the Our team page.
Where and when classes are held
Math classes take place each Saturday at Hlushkova prospekt 4d (in Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, on the Faculty of Computer Science and Cybernetics) from 15:00 to 18:00.

You can get more details on classes «Kvanta» timetable and diverse Olympiads and tournaments on the Calendar page.
How to sign up for lessons
At this moment our classes are at full capacity and the registration is finished. If you want to join our courses in the future, please fill out the google form.

You also can try to register for Kvanta classes which are held in Creative International School for Children. You can get more information about these classes on the Kvanta-CISC page.
Which knowledge is required to attend classes
Apart from the desire to learn something new, there is nothing required for 5-6th-graders. It is recommended to have some advanced Math/Olympiads experience for 7th-graders. 8th-graders are expected to have a sufficient level of knowledge and a high level of diligence since the study program is challenging and requires thorough study besides lessons.

However, the main characteristic of all Kvanta participants is the desire to study Math and diligence at classes and during the rest of the week!
What you need to bring with you to classes
The only things we expect students to have during lessons is the desire to study Math, a workbook, and a pen. Everything else is from us :).
